About ABA Educator
Built on a Foundation of Experience & Clinical Integrity
ABA Educator is committed to the accurate representation of behavioural science and the upholding the highest professional standards across Ontario.
High-Quality: Direct consultation is provided by Kelly Alves, a Doctor of Education (EdD), a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) in Ontario, and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
Experienced: With over 20 years of experience supporting the neurodivergent community, we bring a deep understanding of the Ontario service landscape.
Clinical Integrity: We prioritize the accurate use of terminology and adherence to current best practices. All consulting is designed to align with standards set by the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), ensuring that behavioural messaging is ethical, professional, and reflects the dignity of the individuals served.
Academic Leadership: As a post-secondary professor of Behavioural Science, Kelly’s approach is continuously informed by the latest research and evidence-based practices. This connection to the scholarly community ensures that strategies remain at the forefront of the field.
How I Can Help
Support for ABA Service Providers
Refining Your Professional Presence and Clinical Accuracy
ABA Educator assists and supports ABA agencies across Ontario to elevate their professional presence and clinical accuracy through comprehensive review and consultation. As a subject matter expert in ABA, I provide a specialized review of website and digital messaging to ensure all public-facing content is accurate, uses contemporary terminology, and reflects current evidence-based practices. Consultation can include a review of operational protocols, staff training, and documentation. Our goal is to strengthen how your organization serves your clientele, represents the broader ABA field, and adheres to the rigorous ethical benchmarks of our regulated profession.
Caregiver Consultation & Training
Empowering Families through Collaborative Support
At ABA Educator we recognize there are unique challenges in caregiving for a child with ASD. We provide family-centered consultation and training tailored to the specific dynamics of your home. Our approach helps families incorporate evidence-based ABA strategies into daily routines, bridging the gap between behavioural science and the everyday needs of your family.
Consultation and training can assist with:
Meaningful Goal Development: We collaborate with you to create behavioural goals that prioritize your child’s strengths and interests while enhancing your family’s overall quality of life.
Guidance and Collaborative Planning: At ABA Educator we provide the professional insight needed to answer questions about ASD, behavioural development, and ASD-related services across Ontario. We work with you to educate your family and develop a plan that anticipates future needs, ensuring you feel empowered and ready for every stage of your child’s development.
Broader Community Inclusivity & Advocacy

Preparing Your Organization: We focus on proactive preparation to ensure your environment is welcoming for all patrons.
Informed Engagement: We ensure your staff is educated on effective, evidence-based strategies for inclusive engagement, providing the tools needed to support the community with confidence.
